Introduction

Dell Networking N1100 is a series of energy-efficient, cost-effective 1GbE switches designed to extend enterprise features to
small and mid-sized businesses. N1100 switches utilize a comprehensive layer feature set and offer high-availability for smaller
managed networks.
This document provides specific information for the Dell Networking N1108T-ON/N1108P-ON/N1124T-ON/N1124P-
ON/N1148T-ON/N1148P-ON switches firmware version 6.4.2.8

 Added HiveAgent Support - HiveAgent is now ON by default and can be turned off via CLI configuration changes.
HiveAgent is an application running on switches to enable network management by HiveManager NG (HM NG).
HiveAgent acts as a relay and enables both monitoring and configuration of the switches via HiveManager NG (HM
NG).

Interfaces flap when green-mode eee/energy-detect is
enabled with “speed 100 auto” interface configuration.
User Impact
None
Workaround:
Depending on the peer switch, cable lengths, speed and other
variable conditions, the Tx Wake Timer will need to be adjusted.
Use the following command to adjust the Tx Wake Timer:
green-mode eee tx-wake-time <value>

Enhanced hashing mode is not supported for LAGs on None
Albion
Workaround:
The default hashing mode for Albion is set to hashing based on
Source/Destination MAC, VLAN, EtherType, source module, and
incoming port
