Well Point System
The Boiler Turbine Area is about 6,139.77 m2 ( attachment A & B) which will be excavated
and leveled up to 1.00 MSL to start the piling activities.
Based on our Boring Test Result for the Area, the existing water table is 1.3 MSL below Ground level
of 5 MSL.(see attachment C & D)
Our plan is to set - up the Wellpoint system on the perimeter of the excavation portion, which is
about 4 MSL

PROCEDURE:

1.0 The Well Point System is a system consist of Number of Wellpoints position around the perimeter of the excavation area.
2.0 These wellpoints, which are set @6.8M below Ground level is connected to a 1 1/2" diameter riser pipe,
spaced at 1.4m center to center which are connected to the 6"dia. header above the ground
3.0 The header around the excavation area is connected to an Auto Vacuum Pump which is driven by diesel generator .
4.0 The auto vacuum Pump will suck the water which will be disposed to Patay Creek.

5.0 Considering a rise of 4.5mm/min or 270 mm/hr for water accumulation below ground, the total amount of water to be
pump out from the area is 1,658 m3/hr.
6.0 This well point system shall bring the water table within the excavation area below the working level of 1.0 MSL.
7.0 Six units of Pumpswill be installed with a capacity of 280m3/hr , Max. Head of 20 M.
8.0 Hence that another Suction Pump PT 3 , will be used for surface water in case of Rain.
9.0 Another 4 units shall be stand by in case there is an increased of volume of water tob be discharged.
