ANNOUNCEMENTS
1) Are you seeking to improve your walk with God and would
like a team of fellow growing Christians to assist you along
your journey? Every Wednesday @ 7:00PM to July 24th, our
Church in Prayer will be walking through the 12 steps to
drawing closer to our Heavenly Father. If you are interested
in joining us for this life changing journey, ask the pastor or
our prayer ministry leader, Clara Baptiste for your copy of the
booklet “Steps to Christ” and journaling notebook.

3) Parents with Children: The Mother’s room is available for
parents with infants and toddlers. If you need assistance,
please speak to the deacons/deaconess on duty.
4) Parents and guardians please be aware of your
child’s/children’s whereabouts in church. Your child(ren)
MUST always BE in your company.

6) May 4 The Friends of Jesus Adventurer club meets from 4:00
p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
7) Pathfinders Classes Sunday from 10am – 12 pm.
8) May 4 - FASD - There will be a presentation at 2pm at the St.
Thomas SDA Church (380 Manor Rd) about Fetal Alcohol
Spectrum Disorder. There is a skilled speaker coming in from
about FASD. This will be a great opportunity to learn more
about FASD, its effects, and how to relate to those who have
FASD. We are opening this up to the community and
encourage you to come in casual attire. Please plan on
attending and invite your family/friends to attend.
9) May 7 The Golden Agers are inviting all who are age 55 and
over (and guests) for a lunch at The Mandarin Restaurant
at 387 Wellington Rd, London. Please meet there at 11:30,
we have a table reserved and there is a discount for Seniors
65+. Please sign up on the Lunch Sign Up Sheet in the foyer
and talk to Don Topper, Adrien Intering or any member of the
Senior's Ministry for more information.
10) May 8 - Monthly Open House Community Service from 4 to
7 pm. Setting up is done on Tuesday evening starting at 5
pm. Volunteers are needed for both dates. Please speak to
Teresa Ferreira or any member of the Community Services
Team for more details
11) May 11 - The Disaster and Famine Relief Offering will be
collected. This special offering for ADRA will enable our
humanitarian agency to be prepared to respond quickly to
disasters. Please be prepared to give generously to help those
affected by disasters. Donations can also be made at
adra.ca/dfro or by calling 1-888-274-2372.
12) May 11 Social and Games Night - Celebrating Mothers. Bring
your favorite board games (dominoes etc.) and come have
some fun with mothers who rock. Would you like to publicly
thank your mother for all she has done for you? Then sign up
for our tribute to mothers’ session. Submit your name to Lo,
Simone S, or Beatrice. Please bring your favorite finger foods
or drink and let's have some fun.

14) May 24-25 Western Ontario Regional Camp Meeting in
Chatham; theme "Growing Young." Speaker: Edward Marton,
Ohio Conference Youth Director. Everyone is encouraged to
attend and bring your friends.
