Detailed Lesson Plan In Mathematics - Kinder

(60minutes)

I. OBJECTIVE :

At the end of 60 minutes, pupils should be able to:

A. identify time in a small hand which represents hours and big hand as a
minutes.

B. read the time, and have pupils repeat after the teacher.

C. write the time and put the hand in correct places in hour and in minute.

Materials:

 Large clock (analog) with movable hands


 Digital clock
 A timer
 Student copies of “Telling Time Homework" printable worksheet
 Flash cards, chart, paper clock

III. PROCEDURE :

Show them the time by letting them move the short hand in hour and long
hand in minute.
Give each pupil a flash card with a given time.

Call each group representative to manipulate the paper clock in the given
time shown

IV. EVALUATION:
What time is it? Read the correct time on the clock

V. ASSIGNMENT:
Draw the long hand and short hand to show the time.
