Evidencia 1: Writing and essay about logistics costs

Introduction

Currently, there are companies worldwide where they launch new products and in

turn they are introduced in international markets and in the same place where the

international physical distribution is of great importance because it is the flow of goods that

goes from one origin to another. destination Among buyers and sellers (Exports and

Imports) are these two main activities of Foreign Trade that can be of Raw materials or

finished products. (Scielo, 2012).

All this is done through an identification of the routes so that the product can be

transported, commercialized in the international market, and in turn develop the business

competitiveness where it is possible to ensure the survival of the companies in the long-

term market, in all the segments to which you want to access with the products, in the local

and international context. (Procolombia, 2019)

One of the strategies to achieve competitiveness is an adequate planning of the

international physical distribution, in terms of the costs and activities involved in the

different processes, taking into account that within the logistics chain they represent a

representative section. This planning will focus on cost reduction, inventory optimization,

improvement in customer service levels, optimization of transportation routes and adequate

selection of means and modes of transport. (Access, 2019)
