INTRODUCTION
• Human brain ,the most valuable creation of god. The msn is called intelligent because
of the brain. today we develop we can think, that other animals cannot do. But we
loss the knowledge of a brain when body is destroyed after the death of man. That
knowledge might have been used for the development of the human society.

• “BLUE BRAIN”-the name of the world’s first virtual brain. That means a machine that
can function as human brain. Today scientists are in research to create an artificial
brain that can think, take decision , response and keep anything in memory. The main
aim is to upload human brain into machine. So that man can think ,take decision
without any effort. After the death of body, the virtual brain will act as man. So, even
after the death of a person will not loose the knowledge, intelligence, personality,
feelings and memories of that man that can be used for development of the human
society, no one has ever understood the complexity of human brain. It is complex
than any circuitry in the world. So, question may arise “is it really possible to create a
human brain?” the answer is ”yes”. Because what ever man has created today
always he has followed the nature. When man does not have a device called
computer it was a big question for all. But today it is possible due to the technology.
Technology is growing faster than every thing. IBM is now research to create a virtual
brain. It is called blue brain. If possible, this would be the first virtual brain of the
world.
What is blue brain

• The IBM is now developing a virtual brain

known as BLUE BRAIN.
• It would be the worlds first virtual brain.
Within 30years, we will be able to scan
ourselves into the computers.
WHAT IS VIRTUAL BRAIN?

• A machine that can function as human

brain.
• it can take decision.
• It can think.
• It can response.
• It can keep things in memory.
• It also has feelings and emotions.
WHY WE NEED VIRTUAL
BRAIN
• To upload contents of natural brain into it
• To keep the intelligence, knowledge, skill of any
person for ever
• To remember things without any effort
• It can make own decisions and permits the deaf
to hear through direct nerve stimulation.
• It acts as a supercomputer and development in
processing, speed and memory could simulate
the human brain.
FUNCTIONING OF NATURAL
BRAIN
• The nervous system is one of the complicatedly organized electron
mechanisms and it is like a miracle because we cannot see it but it
is working via electric pulses in our body. Even the engineers are
not able to make the circuit boards and devices as accurate as the
nervous system. The three simple functions of the brain are:-

• Sensory input:- Receiving inputs such as sound, image etc through

the sensory cell.

• Interpretation:- Interpretation of the received input by the brain by

defining states of neurons in the brain.

• Motor output:- Receiving of electric responses from the brain to

perform any action.

Now there is no question how the virtual brain
will work. But the question is how the human
brain will be uploaded into it. This is also
possible due to the first growing technology
UPLOADING HUMAN BRAIN
• The uploading is possible by the use of small robots called nanobots.
• This robots are small enough to travel throughout our circulatory
system.
• Travelling into the spine and brain, they will be able to monitor the
activity and structure of our central nervous system
• They will be able to provide an interface with computer while we still
reside in our biological form
• Nanorobots could also carefully scan the structure of our brain,
provoiding a complete readout of the connection.
• The information when entering in to a computer, could then continue
to function as us.
• Thus the data stored into the entire brain will be uploaded into the
computer.
RESEARCH WORK

Switzerland’s IBM developing the “Blue brain”

• Ecole Polytechnique Federale De

Lausanne’s(EPFL) Brain and Mind Institute will
begin simulating the brain’s biological systems
SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE
REQUIREMENT
• 1. A super computer.
• 2. Memory with a very large storing capacity.
• 3. Processor with a very high processing power.
• 4. A very wide network.
• 5. A program to convert the electric impulses
from the brain to input signal, which is to be
received by the computer, and vice versa.
• 6. Very powerful Nanobots to act as the
interface between the natural brain and the
computer
ADVANTAGES
• The blue brain is an easy way to store and use human
intelligence and data or information present in the mind
even after the death of the body.
• It will be a vital step towards self-decision making of a
device containing the blue brain.
• It can do all important functions like an intelligent
machine.
• It can avail as interference between human beings and
animals. The blue brain program was implemented on
rat and it was a success, provides a sign of success in
future too.
DISADVANTAGES

• The human kind becomes dependent on

machines.
• Another fear is about human clothing and
regaining the memory back is an
expensive procedure.
CONCLUSION

• We will be able to transfer ourselves into

computers at some point. It will bring both
benefits and harm to human society. Very
soon this technology will be highly
accepted whole over the world.
