While writing the annotated bibliography I did see myself make a repeated mistake of not

adding to much detail when writing about the intended audience. This was an issue mainly

because I was not too sure who the audience was because most of my sources were the analysis

of data. Some other mistakes I made was not putting all of my citations in alphabetical order, all

of them were in alphabetical order except for the last one because I had to change one of my

sources. I am sure there are many grammatical errors in my annotated bibliography but my lack

of grammar skills do not allow me to see them. I plan to improve my grammar skills because I

have read other people’s papers and they have a better sound and flow than mine. The way I plan

to improve this is too maybe practice writing more often or take a course that is specifically for

improving grammar. Another thing I want to improve on is my vocabulary because I feel like I

still write on a highschool level and that is very clear when I read other people’s papers.

I believe I addressed the project question thoroughly because I was able to summarize the

journals well, find the author’s credentials to see if they were qualified to write on this topic and

to check if they are reliable. I definitely understood the purpose of the annotated bibliography

because we were supposed to gather information on our topic to better understand both sides of

it. I was able to successfully gather information on my topic which was food Insecurity in India

without using any bias. The peer reviews were helpful for me because I was given advice to be

more specific when discussing the intended audience and making the compare and contrast

element better. My rough draft was also done poorly which makes it somewhat difficult to take

advice on changing it because it would be done a lot differently.

While writing my annotated bibliography I did not have a specific writing process

besides finding my sources and doing the craap test. Other than those two things I mainly just

read what the journals were about and tried to paraphrase it by using information from it. I did

not discuss the project with my classmates because it was pretty straightforward on what you had

to do and everyone had different topics. Finding the sources and doing the craap tests prior to

writing the final was definitely helpful because you already have your sources ready and you

know they are reliable which just leaves you with having to summarize them. As of now I do not

know of any process that I can use but if I ever see one that looks like it can be useful then I will

definitely give it a try. In conclusion I do not believe I need to find more sources for my position

paper because I am very confident that I have sufficient evidence to prove that my topic is a

major issue.
