In order to reduce the carbon footprint it is important to find an alternative way to reduce the burning of fossil
fuels to form energy that we are using today. So, it is the need of the hour now to find a feasible solution that
can reduce the effect for the same.

We encounter across many such processes in our daily life which can be a useful resource for generating power
and just ignore them. One of the resource is our footsteps. While just walking around and covering some distance
our energy is getting wasted and is not utilized at all. This energy can be used to generate power with the help
of piezoelectric tiles on our pathway.

The battery attached to these tiles stores the power generated through the pressure we put with each step on it.
This can be later used as an electricity source. Best part! You can make it at home!

footpaths, roads and toll booths having huge traffic. It can be used for street lighting reducing power
consumption from main lines.

to use. Also the weight applied on the tile is a linear function of energy produced. Hence, it can be easily used at

producing harm to the environment. Using piezo tiles we are able to reduce the original consumption of energy
through burning of fossil fuels which reduces carbon footprint.
