Assignment Title: Resume

Student Writing Goal: My writing goal is to score more than 85% on my assignments. I want to add specific vocabulary
to make my statement interesting and use textual evidence while fixing other errors.

Instructions:
1) Re-read the paper (and teacher feedback).
2) Complete this reflection sheet.

What was the purpose of this writing assignment?

The purpose of this writing assignment was to prepare me for the real world. This is the resume that I will use
as my first because if it’s precise as I expect it then I will keep on adding new skills and abilities that I have
achieve.

How did you perform in relation to the expectations of the writing rubric?
I feel like I haven’t done “my all” because I’ve been confused on my work. I don’t know how to use the
laptop very well nor edit my mistakes such as commenting and highlighting. I actually want to do better on
my resume because I believe it’s important for us to graduate and move on with our lives to receive currency.

What aspect of this piece did you do well? (give example/quotes to support claims)
I did well on adding information but I still have to add more such as skills and abilities. Also I should add my
elective classes as well so that way the person reading my resume can be interested.

Why have you/haven’t you chosen to revise this writing assignment?

I havnt revised my resume as much because I didn’t understand the editing tools :( I wish I can understand it
but soon I will fix it. What bothers me are the bullet points because it looks unprofessional and a list. Im
pretty sure no one wants to see a list full of skills.

What will you do better in your next writing assignment, and how will I do it?
I will pay more attention and follow along what my teacher tells me to do. She gives out great advice about
improving writing so listening to her is the best option if I want to improve.

To what degree of success did you achieve your previously stated goal(s)?
I achieve to be more organized with my categories like skills and abilities. Being organized can make your
resume look beautiful to the point they will love to read your resume.
