Factors Affecting Job Satisfaction of College Instructors

Statement of the Problem

The study aimed to determine the factors affecting job satisfaction of college
instructors of Osmeña Colleges. The following specific questions were answered:

1. What is the profile of college instructors as to:


1.1 present position / number of years
1.2 previous work experience / position / number of years
1.3 age,
1.4 gender,
1.5 civil status,
1.6 number of family members or dependents,
1.7 employment of spouse,
1.8 educational attainment: degree received / where obtained / when, and
1.9 status of appointment?

2. What are the perceptions of the respondents on the factors affecting job satisfaction
as to:
2.1 extrinsic factors, and
2.2 intrinsic factors?

3. Is there a significant difference in the effect of extrinsic and intrinsic factors on job
satisfaction?
4. Is there a significant satisfaction between the extrinsic and intrinsic satisfaction
factors in relation to job satisfaction?
