The MF3640 and MF5650 combines use
sieves mounted with bearings, improving the
machines’ balance.This type of bearing
requires much less maintenance and has an
extremely long service life.The fan is
equipped with turbine-type blades and the air
stream direction can be adjusted for varying
conditions.
Automatic header controls
The automatic functions permit a low cut
under all terrain conditions, maximizing
productivity and safety.With these automatic
functions, the operator does not have to deal
with the tough task of adjusting the header
manually.These controls also guarantee a
uniform and continuous feed during high
machine performance.The functions
incorporated on the new models are:
– CHC (cutting height control): adjusts the
header position to guarantee a constant pre-
determined cutting height from the soil.
– AUTOLEVEL (self-levelling header):
adjusts continuously and automatically the
levelling of the pre-adjusted cutting height.
– THC (header height control): sets the
table automatically to a predetermined height
for harvests in which the cut is done without
soil contact.

Fieldstar - precision farming increases

Installation of the Fieldstar system on MF3640
and MF5650 Advanced combines enables you
to use precision farming techniques even on
smaller farms.The equipment, which is easily
installed, monitors yield, machine output,
harvested area, amount of grain in the tank,
crop moisture and temperature.The data
logged by Fieldstar can be processed and
viewed on your farm computer in the form of
yield and gross margin maps. With this
information you can, for example, decide on
the most effective use of fertilizer to improve
yield where required whilst reducing waste
and so increasing your profitability.
The straw-walker geometry on the MF3640
and MF5650 Advanced combines has been
redesigned to enhance the straw flow and
grain separation.The speed, turning radius and
the straw walker design guarantee an intense
straw agitation, which increases separation,
and minimizes grain loss.
Four-wheel drive
In many rice fields, the MF3640 and MF5650
Advanced Combines operate satisfactorily
with four-wheel drive only. For softer soil
conditions, the MF5650 can be specified with
dual tyres giving it greater productivity and
reducing maintenance costs.
