You are now about twenty months away from high school graduation. Over the course of those
months, you will be starting to make decisions about who you are as a young adult, where you
want to be, and what you want to do with your life beyond high school. Take a moment to reflect
on where you have been and where you are going.
Think of a class that you have had success with over the course or your high school career.
Why do you think you were successful in this particular class? What did you do to help
yourself? What did your teacher do? What have you discovered about what works for you
as a learner?
I’ve had success in History, Photography and Culinary. I feel for both photography and culinary i
do so well is because definitely for culinary i feel passionate and happy partaking in the subject. I
love cooking. The teacher is amazing and kind as well. I’ve become a fast learner in the kitchen

I struggled in Algebra 2. I haven’t really always been the best with more complicated maths. I’m
better a simple math which i can typically finish quickly. Algebra 2 requires too much effort i

Much better studying habits still since I tend to be a person who never studies, just does all their
work and hope for the best when a test comes along. I could adopt better habits that could help
me gain motivation.
