SERVICE QUOTA (MALE&FEMALE)

Reference is made on the subject noted above.

Respected sir

It is stated that District Education Officer (SE) issued a letter having Memo No. 1250/EC-M/W
dated 05/03/2018 for the in-service promotion of Teachers of District Chakwal Est to SST (arts) and
SST(science)out of 50% in–service quota (male&female on the subject noted above. (Copy of said letter
is enclosed as Annexure-A). Now six months have been passed away no DPC is being help up-till now.
This shows clear negligence of District Education Chakwal Authority. It is also stated that the previous
Deputy Commissioner Chakwal has also issued show cause notice for not arranging the Departmental
Promotion Committee DPC for the promotion of Teachers. Despite of that no Departmental Promotion
Committee DPC meeting has been held uptill now.

It is also stated that Government of Punjab has also directed to District Education Authorities to
conduct the Departmental Promotion Committee DPC in each month. (Copy of above mentioned letter
is enclosed as Annexure-B). It is worth mentioning that no Departmental Promotion Committee DPC
meeting has been held in District chakwal since last two years.

Respected Sir, this right of civil servant for promotion according to rules. Being a civil servant u
knows that a servant have to wait for many years for promotion. It is further added that many teacher have
highly qualified having education M.Sc (Chemistry , Math , Physics, Botany, Zoology etc) and M.phil also.

It is further added that DPC are being held regularly through out the Punjab Province according to
rules. In District Jhelum by Elections are being held and DPC is also on 16/08/2018 vide order
No.2499/Admn/18 dated 16/08/2018 by District Education Officer Jhelum (Copy of above letter is also
enclosed as Annexure-C). In District Khushab DPC is also held by Chief Executive Officer District
Education Authority Khushab on 11/09/2018 vide order No.6792/E-1. (Copy of above letter is also
enclosed as Annexure-D). DPC are also being held in General Election 2018, in all Departments. The
worthy secretary Education has also conducted DPC in Education Department and Promoted the teachers.
(Copy of above letter is also enclosed as Annexure-E)

. We all teacher request you to arrange Departmental Promotion Committee DPC meeting for the
promotion of teacher.
