Contribution to the IEEE society:

I, Dr. Lokesh Sharma, Member, IEEE have been offering services at various platforms of IEEE
since 2015. These include delivering guest lectures, paper presentation, member of TPC-IEEE
conferences, reviewing work for technical articles for IEEE conferences/journals, motivating
colleagues and students for IEEE membership drive etc.
The contributions as an active IEEE member under various heads were many, the most significant
contribution is listed below
 Member of IEEE young professionals and held the activities like IEEE YP Outbound
Trip -Networking Meetup Event – (13th-14th May 2017) at Rishikesh and Jaipur.
 Help in the formation of IEEE student branch, IEEE-MTTS student branch chapter and IEEE
–APS student branch chapter at Manipal University Jaipur.
 Design and management of the IEEE Student Branch website (http://www.ieeemuj.com/)
with the help of the student members of IEEE student’s chapter.
 We have applied and received $1500 funding from IEEE headquarter for the various
activities under the IEEE-MTTS student chapter.
 Organizing Committee Member, COMPTELIX2017 @Manipal University Jaipur, July 1-2,
2017
 Member of organizing committee of the second version of Smart System-Innovation
in Computing conference in technical association with IEEE-Computer Society during
(January18-20,2019) at Manipal University Jaipur.
 Member, Technical Program Committee (s) for various IEEE conferences held within and
outside Rajasthan.
  Motivated for the IEEE membership and around 50 new IEEE
membership(Professional/Student) in Manipal University Jaipur by the motivation and
guidance from IEEE Rajasthan Sub-Section executive Committee Members

Profile in Brief:
I, Dr. Lokesh Sharma, currently working as Assistant Director (Quality and Compliance) and
Assistant Professor-Selection Grade at School of Computing & IT, Manipal University Jaipur. I have
completed Ph.D. in the area of Mobile Ad Hoc Networks from Manipal University Jaipur. I did
Master of Technology (CSE) and Bachelor of Engineering (IT) from Rajasthan Technical University
and University of Rajasthan respectively. I have over thirteen years of teaching and administrative
experience.
I am Involved as a Technical Program Committee member of many IEEE conferences. Currently
working research in the field of Software Defined Networks, MANETs, and Futuristic Networks.
