What schooling or training do you have that is necessary for this position?
- I have no degree as I was fortunate enough to expand and chain from my father's
company.
How did you get this job?
- Opportunity to expand my father's business.
How long have you worked here?
- I’ve worked for the company since I was 14 years old.
What qualifications do you need to work?
- For most businesses men working within the field now need some kind of marketing or
business degree.
Are there any non related work to your field that has helped you within this career?
- I worked for a mine company for three years as a young adult and taught me the ethics I
still use today. You only see progress throughout hard work and partnerships.
If you were to start over would you choose the same path?
- Yes I would, I've had amazing opportunities and memories that I would actually love to
relive!
Is your job what you expected it to be?
- Not at all, I had an idea through my father's perspective and experience, but it was
absolutely difficult to take in as my own responsibility.
What are your biggest challenges?
- The worst part about my job is letting people go.
What do you consider the biggest part of your job?
- Meeting visitors from all over the east coast who stop and share their valuable moments
within the area.
Describe a typical day for you
- Help open the restaurant to keep up and return around supper during out rush hour.
What do you spend most of your time doing?
- keeping work and relationships in order as well as the financing for the restaurant and
the Villa.
Where could you progress to in this position?
- Spread the business’s name throughout eastern Pennsylvania.
How many employees work for this company?
- I have 72 employees at the restaurant as we run flexible schedules along with the
catering crew.
What are your relationships like it’s your coworkers?
- We work as a unit to accomplish the daily tasks.
Is teamwork essential for this position?
- To keep a business work smoothly and flexible, yes, teamwork is one of the greatest
rules we play by here.
How often do you work alone?
- I hardly ever work alone as we always have people preparing at the restaurant.
How much of your work is self direct?
- If work for me is self directed, it’s very critical that I make the right one.
Does your company take part in giving back to the local community?
- Yes, we do sponsorships though local fundraisers and teams.
What is the beginning salary for someone with this job?
- I'd rather not share mine, but people who begin to build their own business may bring in
roughly 100 annually.
What advice would you give to someone who is starting out?
- Positive attitude, actions, and ethic will favor you in a great way. The greatest obstacle to
young adults today may be facing time and patience.
