• Norther Tier High Adventure Trek 5 days/2016

Led our crew for 5 days in the Northern Tier Wilderness in Canada. Responsibilities included
duty roster, planning route and working with staff for successful trek. At the end of the trek, I
was voted “Toughest Scout Per Pound.”

Backpacked 3 nights/4 days on the Kesugi Ridge near Denali

• Philmont High Adventure 6 days/2017

Planned and lead our crew of scouts on a 90-mile backpacking adventure through the Philmont
Scout Ranch in Northern New Mexico. Responsibilities included crew assignments, working
with Philmont staff on trek route, re-supply and check-in points.

Navigated and sailed to various islands around Great Abaco in the Bahamas. Held various
responsibilities such as cooking, cleaning, steering, and raising and lowering sails.

9th Texas Parks & Wildlife, Eagle Scout Project 100 hours
Worked with Texas Parks and Wildlife Inland Fisheries District Supervisor, Marcus DeJesus, to
design, build and install fish habitat in Lake Kyle, Kyle, TX as part of the Texas Parks and
Wildlife Lake Kyle Management Program.

9th – 12th Academy for Global Studies at Austin High School 120+ hours
Specific curriculum experiences such as the garden project, the sophomore TGPLAN
(Think Globally, Problem-solve Locally, Act Neighborly) advocacy project, and the senior
capstone experience.
