Good afternoon,

I wanted to remind you that «Organization_Name» has an upcoming deadline for its annual
registration. In order to maintain the Registered Student Organization (RSO) status, all RSOs are
required to complete registration through the new Redbird Life portal.

This portal is your organization’s source for effectively managing your organization’s events,
attendance, forms, and even enhance your recruiting efforts.

Log on to RedbirdLife.IllinoisState.edu and follow the steps outlined in this guide to successfully
register your organization for the next year.

Your RSO will need to complete its Redbird Life registration and obtain approval before you can
register for Festival ISU.

To successfully register your organization, you will need:

 A President, their ilstu.edu email address
 A Treasurer, their ilstu.edu email address
 Three (3) additional members, their ilstu.edu email addresses
 ISU faculty/staff advisor contact information (including ilstu.edu email address)
 Electronic copy of your constitution with ratification data within the last two (2) years

Before approval, your organization’s constitution will be audited to ensure it meets all
necessary requirements. The primary contact listed in your Redbird Life registration will be
notified of any updates that are needed.

RSO advisors and all officers will need to log into the system and accept their invitations to your
organization for the registration to be approved.

This is a reminder that all RSOs are required to update their registration whenever new officers
are elected. Shown below is what we currently have on file for «Organization_Name».

Treasurer: «Treasurer»
Advisor: «Advisor_Name»
Officers End Term: «Officers_end_term»

Please have one of the above officers from «Organization_Name» complete registration in the
Redbird Life Portal.
