If you go to work on your goals, your goals will go to work on you. If you go to
work on your plan, your plan will go to work on you. Whatever good things we
build end up building us.
Jim Rohn.

The secret to productive goal setting is in establishing clearly defined goals,

writing them down and then focusing on them several times a day with words,
pictures, and emotions as if we've already achieved them.
Denis Waitley.

You can change your entire life by changing the order of priority and
importance of your goals.
Brian Tracy.

Do everything that you do in the firm conviction that you are an advancing
personality and that you are giving advancement to everybody.
Wallace D. Wattles.

Do not wait for an opportunity to be all that you want to be. When an
opportunity to be more than you are now is presented and you feel impelled
toward it, take it. It will be the first step toward a greater opportunity.

Criteria [Standards] of Educative Process. By R.S.Peters.

1. Education implies transmission of what is worthwhile [valuable] to

those who are committed to it.
2. Education involves not only knowledge and understanding, but also
some sort [category] of cognitive perspective which stresses on
interrelating the knowledge with the world around.
3. Education must be carried out [performed] through procedures that
uphold [support] dignity and autonomy of persons and secure
[safeguard] and utilize their willingness [commitment],
purposiveness and capabilities.
4. Education is concerned with the development of the whole man, and
each activity must contribute to it.

To those brave men and women, champions of Enterprise, builders of families

and friendships, risk takers - [‘with plan or plans in writing paper, and in hand.
Of course!’] - on the turbulent seas of life, who boldly [confidently] go where no
one has gone before, and never give up. You are the Empire builders, the true
movers and shakers [character] of society upon whom we all depend. Long may
you endure!
Brian Tracy

Right now, your competition is training.

Unknown author

Training. I have often said that it’s as complicated as you want to make it. The
mentality of ‘just pick up [learn] heavy stuff [issue]’ will only get you so far [to
this point]. As you improve, your training must evolve [develop]. And a lot of
guys [people] evolve by trial and error. But that’s extremely inefficient. If you
understand the physiology of what you need and you also understand the
training effects of different means [resources] and methods, you can then apply
the right tool for the job. Less trial-and-error. More improvement. Of course, if
you’re just interested in average results, there’s no need to put that much effort
into it.

1. Indeed, identity is objectively defined as location in a certain world and

can be subjectively appropriated only along with that world. ... [A]
coherent identity incorporates within itself all the various internalized
roles and attitudes.

2. Identity emerges as a kind of unsettled [variable] space, or an unresolved

question in that space, between a number of intersecting discourses. ...
[Until recently, we have incorrectly thought that identity is] a kind of
fixed point of thought and being, a ground [earth] of action ... the logic of
something like a `true self.' ... [But] Identity is a process, identity is split
[divided]. Identity is not a fixed point but an ambivalent point. Identity
is also the relationship of the other to oneself. - [And think in 100 and 5

Psychology - Some Precise Concepts

1. Accuracy [Exactitude] motivation - n. A need or desire to make no or few

errors in accomplishing a task. This is important to subjects in psychology
experiments asked to perform tasks in which accuracy is used as a
dependent [in need of] measure. A subject who lacks the motivation to
do the task accurately may skew [distort] results. This is particularly
important in boring [uninteresting] and/or repetitive tasks.

2. Achievement motivation - n. A desire to achieve social status,

recognition, and rewards through the accomplishment of difficult goals,
competition, and independent effort which has been linked with
academic and vocational success in the United States and some other
cultures. This has been found to be correlated with a combination of high
parental [paternal] support, high parental demand, and childhood
autonomy training. - [«Lazos Increíbles», and tracks].

3. Achievement motive - n. An inferred [conjectured] drive [initiative] to

accomplish difficult tasks at a high standard of competence and
overcoming [conquering] all obstacles. A desire to master tasks, to
manipulate and control objects and other human beings, and to do so
better than others are able to do. A desire to surpass [improve on] one’s
previous accomplishments and to be recognized as better than others. It
includes a need to increase one’s self-esteem by the successful exercise of
one’s own talents.

4. Action research - n. Applied [Practical] research in the form of use of

research techniques in programs of social action in order to bring about
positive social change and to understand the processes involved in social
change.

5. Adaptation - n. Adaptation is an individual or group’s ability to process

new or modified information and the consequent psychological,
physiological, or behavioral [behavior] response that allows for effective
functioning or goal attainment [accomplishment] in a constantly
changing environment.

Financial innovation

Uncertainty [Insecurity] must be taken in a sense radically distinct from the

familiar notion of risk, from which it has never been properly separated.... The
essential fact is that ‘risk’ means in some cases a quantity susceptible of
measurement, while at other times it is something distinctly [definitely] not of
this character; and there are far-reaching [extensive] and crucial differences in
the bearings [effects] of the phenomena depending on which of the two is really
present and operating.... It will appear that a measurable uncertainty, or ‘risk’
proper [appropriate], as we shall use the term, is so far [to this point] different
from an unmeasurable one that it is not in effect an uncertainty at all.

Financial innovation – like any innovation – can be used for many purposes.
There is an important role for regulation to ensure [safeguard] that financial
products are offered responsibly to consumers. It is just as important to ensure
that we continue to discover, test and offer new products and services that will
improve the everyday financial lives of families.

Financial capability refers to the combination of knowledge, understanding,

skills, attitudes and especially behaviors that people need to make sound
[complete] personal finance decisions suited [competent] to their social and
financial circumstances. Some of the most important behaviors for financial
capability include:

1) making ends meet;

2) keeping track of one’s finances;

3) planning ahead;

4) choosing financial products wisely; and

5) staying informed about financial matters, often also termed [named]

In an environment of rapid financial innovation, these behaviors take on even

more importance.

America’s Bureau of Engraving and

Day.

BARBARA KLEIN: Welcome to THIS IS AMERICA in VOA Special English. I'm

Barbara Klein.

STEVE EMBER: And I’m Steve Ember. Today on our program, we visit the
Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, D.C. to hear how American
dollars are made. In two thousand nine, the Bureau produced about twenty-six
million bills a day.

Producing money requires both artistic and technological skills. Dollar bills are
made so that they are interesting to look at but very hard to copy. In total, there
are sixty-five separate steps required to make a dollar bill.

popular activity for visitors to Washington, D.C. These trips are a good way to
learn new and interesting facts about the history of money and its complex
production methods. It is also exciting to stand in a room with millions of
dollars flying through machines.

TOUR GUIDE: "All right, ladies and gentlemen, once again welcome to the
Bureau of Engraving and Printing. And this is where the color of money begins.
The money making process begins when a yearly order sent by the Federal
Reserve Board. That order will then be divided in half. Half will be done here
in Washington, D.C. and the other half will be done in Fort Worth, Texas.”

STEVE EMBER: Next, the Bureau orders special paper from the Crane Paper
Company in the state of Massachusetts. The paper is actually cloth since it is
seventy-five percent cotton and twenty-five percent linen.

Catechism [Religious education]

The Knowledge of God According to the Church

"Our holy mother, the Church, holds and teaches that God, the first principle
and last end of all things, can be known with certainty from the created world
by the natural light of human reason." Without this capacity, man would not be
able to welcome God's revelation. Man has this capacity because he is created
"in the image of God".

In the historical conditions in which he finds himself, however, man experiences

many difficulties in coming to know God by the light of reason alone:

Though [However] human reason is, strictly speaking, truly capable by its own
natural power and light of attaining [reaching] to a true and certain knowledge
of the one personal God, who watches over and controls the world by his
providence, and of the natural law written in our hearts by the Creator; yet there
are many obstacles which prevent reason from the effective and fruitful
[productive] use of this inborn [inherent] faculty.

Leadership of 100 and 5 Stars -- 11 -- Ed. 2.0

For the truths that concern the relations between God and man wholly
[completely] transcend the visible order of things, and, if they are translated into
human action and influence it, they call for self-surrender [self-renunciation]
and abnegation. The human mind, in its turn, is hampered [vulnerable] in the
attaining of such truths, not only by the impact of the senses and the
imagination, but also by disordered appetites which are the consequences of
original sin [transgression].

… This is why man stands in need of being enlightened by God's revelation, not
only about those things that exceed his understanding, but also "about those
religious and moral truths which of themselves are not beyond [in front of] the
grasp [knowledge] of human reason, so that even in the present condition of the
human race, they can be known by all men with ease [comfort], with firm
certainty and with no admixture [mixture] of error".

La Biblia

16 Más vale poco con temor del Señor | que grandes tesoros con preocupación.

17 Más vale ración de verdura con amor | que buey cebado con rencor.

18 Hombre impulsivo provoca peleas, | hombre paciente calma contiendas.

Know the Project: Books of English, from English 1 to 5, for all

the CBTIS of the United Mexican States.

The Students can do the organization as they like it; but

absolutely, the Responses are written by hand, and the Works
are Presented by Groups with a Maximum of 5 persons.

«I formulated a project for the CBTIS (Technological Industrial and of Services Center of
Bachelor Degree) 107 of Tuxtepec, Oaxaca, México consisting in giving to the Library of this
Institution with five volumes of English language, of my authorship. A book for each semester,
from the first English book to fifth English book (according to the plan of studies in this regard
of the CBTIS). At no cost to the Institution, because this is a donation (in the staff, I solve my
expenses of the project with income of my employment as a professor that I would be in this
CBTIS).
One of the major advantages of this project is to solve the need of the student of
spending in books of English language because the books will be at your complete disposal into
the student community in the Library of the institution.
Afterward, in an immediate subsequent phase of this project is that among the student
community of this CBTIS and all the CBTIS of the United Mexican States will have these 5
volumes of English language by means of a page of Google; read it, neither cost nor restriction
to obtain them.
Well, as a last note, I must say that these books will have the format of 'workbook'.
This, as an intelligent work with foundations and then their respective exercises to resolve, into
a concurrent process». M.C. Enrique Ruiz Díaz.
