Acknowledgement

I would like to convey my greatfulness to Housekeeping

Department for the excellent OJT which I have undergone in Privato

Hotel. The skills and knowledge which I have gained throughout my

practical training I percieve as very valuable component in my future

career development. To my family for giving me enough financial

support to accomplished this training and also to all my co-intern for

encouraging me to finished this OJT.


Background History of the Company

Privato Hotel is an Italian-inspired business and lifestyle

hotel in Pasig City. Strategically located near Capitol Commons an

upcoming lifestyle and dining development and the Ortigas Central

Business District,the hotel boasts of 177 rooms desinged in

contemporary style. Gab Perez is the owner of this business ,at age of

26 he’s the CEO of the real-state development company ,he put up at

age 21 after graduating from college. On the first Year if his firm ,

Green Asia Real Estate he built a 65-room residential building ,

followed by several build-and-sell houses.His latest Project is the 177-

room Privato Hotel on Shaw Boulevard in Pasig City where he also

lives .J.Anton Mendoza desinged the hotel’s restaurant called Piazza,

its walls decorated with acrylic birds representing the country’s

endangered species and a stylized Mona Lisa portrait to complement

the hotel Italian inspiraton .Unlike self obsessed and spoiled millenials,

Perez struck out practically on his own,with very little help from his

parents who trusted thier son enough to allow him to learn the ropes in

the industry had chosen , perhaps make mistakes , and to cheer him

on his every triumph.”I lived here now’’ Pesrez said says he gives

Inquirer Lifestyle a tour ofr the 22-floor Privato.He moved into the

business-lifestyle hotel from Angelica Manor nearby ,the residential

condo he built when Privato was completed earlier this year.

Vision

Privato Hotel’s vison is to continually upgrade and establish

the standards of business hotels in the Pasig City area. It strives to

become the preferred hotel in the Pasig City where guests return to

enjoy and experience consistent excellence in service, dining, and

accommodation.

Institution

Privato Hotel is like a family you can grow , with the company ,

they will serve as your training ground for your becoming future. They

provide a dynamic and interesting work environment that empowers all

employees, treats everyone with respect and equality, and fosters

personal and professional growth.

As an intern , it was a good opportunity for me to have an

internship in Privato Hotel. I’ve experienced a lot of things during my

internship, they have all the needs of what hotell should be. It has a

23-story building with 177 rooms and 60 parking lots.They have a

complete amenities, facelities such as pool and gym .This hotel has a 3

star rating and it has a new branch in Makati City to be open this year.

Facilities

In my everyday experience in hotel , Ive seen all the fecilities of

what hotel should have. They have a F&B facilities ,the Privato Cafe in

Lobby area, Piazza Privato Restaurant in 6th floor, and Verona Roof

Deck Bar .They have also the fuction rooms , Milano Ballroom in 6th

floor, Firenze Ballroom on 7th floor and Roma A & B on 7th floor.

Privato Hotel has also a Fitness facilities and swimming pool. In all the

facilities above ive only experienced to be a pool and gym attendant.


Monitoring guest safety making a list and waiver for the guest and

assisting them.

Staff and Immediate Supervisor

In my On-The-Job Training in Privato Hotel it is a big

oppurtunity that I am one of the interns in Housekeeping Department.

Being an housekeeper leads me to have the knowledge on how to

interact with the people’s everyday lifes in hotel. Room Attendants R.A

assisted me in my everyday task, they encourage to do things exerting

love and efforts of what I am doing. They teach me on how to

communicate guest with deffirent nationalities .

Our Supervisor always checking of what tasks weve done

and correcting us by teaching the right way of what we are doing. All

the staffs in Privato Hotel in all department are very respectable , they

treat everyone with respect and equality, and fosters personal and

professional.
