Role:Design, configure and maintain smooth operations of Linux based infrastructure

and good understanding of Solaris environment for MKS group companies

Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge about Linux kernel and SAN storage
Management. Experienced in creating scripts.
Knowledgeable in TCP Networking, DNS, NFS, NTP, Backup & Restore, applying OS,
Application Patches, managing vulnerabilities, applying hardening techniques, system
performance & Nagios monitoring tools.

Technology Areas: Linux 6,7, Working knowledge of Linux (RedHat/CentOS). and

Solaris 11.x, T-7 series of HW.
Bachelor's in
Desirable:
Systems Administrator Engineering or 6-8 years
Curent Certifications on Linux.
Master’s Degree
Configuration Management & Automation tools.
Knowledge about other operating systems.

Responsibilities:
• Design, Install the Linux & Solaris systems
• Patching and maintaining the systems
• Troubleshoot and report system and application issues.
• Benchmarking,analyze performance and setup for optimal performance.
• Support different development and user teams.
• Document all the process, solution implementation and resolutions.
• Flexibility to work on other standard system administration.
