SCHOOLS DIVISION SUPERINTENDENT CHIEFS, CID AND SGOD EDUCATION PROGRAM SUPERVISORS PUBLIC SCHOOLS DISTRICT SUPERVISORS ELEMENTARY & SECONDARY SCHOOL HEADS ELEMENTARY & SECONDARY TEACHERS ALL OTHERS CONCERNED 1, Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 25, s. 2017 re School Calendar for School Year 2017- 2018, the In-Service Training for Teachers (INSET) is scheduled on October 23- 27, 2017. No. 9 of the Implementing Guidelines of said DepEd Order states, “At the end of the Second Quarter, a semestral break for learners shall be observed to evaluate individual teachers and their collective performance, as well as to conduct the In-Service Training (INSET) activities for their continuing professional development. An additional day for Instructional Materials (IMs) preparation shall also be observed.” In adherence to these guidelines, the Division of Bohol shall conduct the INSET and Mid-Year Assessment on the dates specified. 2. Attached is a suggested Activity Matrix for the INSET which accommodates the items stated in the guidelines. 3. Budgetary requirements (such as expenses for lunch and snacks and materials) relative to the conduct of the INSET shall be charged against School MOOE, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. 4. The District shall submit its Program Design with session guide attachments to the Division HRTD for SDS approval before the INSET. 5.
