01 Casual leave per month shall be granted to the staff member in a calender year (Maximum 12
Casual Leave in a year).
Who shall be joining in mid of the calendar year, the casual leave may be granted proportionately.
Causal leave shall be applicable for all the staff members Regular/Contracutal/Adhoc.
03 Restricted Holiday (RH) shall be granted from the list of the Restricted Holiday for all staff.
30 days Vacation leave may be admissiable to the regular teaching staff members only after the
completion of the one-year services in an academic year.
Vacation leave may be earned by the teaching staff @ 2-1/2 days for each completion of calender
month of service.
30 days Earned Leave shall be admissible to the Non-Teaching staff in a calender year after
completion of one-year services.
Compensatory Leave shall be availed by the staff member within a calender year with prior
apprvoal of the approprite authority.
Only one-hour permission may be granted to the staff as max. 03 times in a month with the prior
approval of the approprite authority.
Medical leave shall be granted to the regular emplyoees with pay keeping in view the length of
service (02 to 05 Yrs.-10 days), (06 to 10 Yrs.-30 days), (11 to 15 Yrs.-60 days), (16 onwards.-120
days).
10 days Leave without pay within a calender year shall be granted to the staff members.

Only upto 15 days On Duty leave may be granted to the teaching staff members for
Seminar/Symposia/Conferance/Workshop/Higher studies/External expert with prior approval
of the appropriate authoirty.
On Duty leave shall be granted to all the Teaching and Non-Teaching staff as and when required
for any official purpose.
Mandatory:
The prior approval is required for normal leave as it is being observed that the staff members are
applying the leave after availing leave. In case of any emergency the casual/medical leave shall be
sanctioned as deemed fit but for all other leaves the prior approval from appropriate authority is
required.
It is mandatory to apply Leave without Pay if no leave is available. Non submission of any type of
leave shall be treated as break in service.
Any longer leave (more than three days) needs to be applied on hard copy through proper channel
in advance
In case of medical leave, the leave needs to be applied on hard copy along with medical and
submitting joining report with fitness certificates through proper channel.
All the short leaves permission request (due to any urgency) needs to be taken on hard copy before
availing the leave.
All the leaves shall be applied through ERP even if applied in hard copy to keep the records update
in ERP.
It is mandatory that all employees need to take approval of Competent Authority for outstation
leave also.
Note: The above mentioned Leave Policy is subject to the amendments as and when needed as
per the SRM Group/ Management. -2-
