Bornales Participates in the Phil-HECS EDP Naney Q. Echavez Dr. Jinky Bornales is one of the second batch of participants for the CHED's Philippine Higher Education cet System (PhILHECS) Executive | Development Program (EDP) which started in July 19, 2017 and culminates in October 19, The program is designed to engage SUC executives and enhance their competencies to prepaze them for increased roles in the improvement of the public higher education sector in the country. CHED launched the PhiLHECS as the professional advancement and career management system for senior ‘executives in SUCs towards the institution of the Roster of Higher Education Career Officers (HECO). HECOs shall be primary candidates for selection for presidency in the appointment to Philippine SUCs. [As provided for by CHED, the participation in the EDP is, done on official rime, thus entitling Bornales her salary and benefits for the full duration of the program. An Officer-in-Charge to the OVCRE is designated to, temporarily takeover the responsibilities inthe interim, This allows De, Bornales to give her full attention and concentration to the program.
