"There is only one wise man in our century: it is Gandhi," said Einstein. In such an
affirmation no mistake can be found. The "weak little man", which according to the
Romain / Rolland expression, "raised 300 million men, shook the British Empire and
created the strongest movement in human politics for almost 2,000 years" has
possibly found the answer to the challenge of nuclear weapons at the same time that
they have been set up.
This work aims to highlight its importance and, at the same time, allow to know how
people lived in a society as stratified as India divided into castes, how was its
economy, its diversity of religions (with their respective conflicts caused by the latent
differences between them) and how the long-awaited Indian independence was
achieved, while detailing how the era of the viceroyalty and British rule in Asia was -
specifically in India.
Many interpretations will be found about Gandhi, among others, with his Truth, he
hurt the superior caste of India, the Brahmins, by emphasizing that we are all equal
to God; and wounded the British by making them give freedom to India under the
British Empire; It was hard and sincere against capitalism and its adoration and
submission to money ... This is why it is natural that some writers try to discredit
Mahatma, so, in some way, through our research we focus on making clear how the
events happened and invite those who read it to form their own conclusion on the
various topics that have been mentioned and that will appear, in detail, throughout
this work.
