These Instructions Are For: How to Install VERSE GENERATOR on an Apple

Computer.

Unzip the ’Verse Generator Installers’ folder (by double clicking) the Zipped file you
downloaded. To make life easier, unzip it on your desktop. Unzip the .zip files inside the
folder as well.

When it is finished unzipping, there should be the ‘Crossover’ Application. You can now
drag that to your ‘Applications’ folder.

Now, go to your ‘Applications’ folder and launch ‘Crossover’. You MIGHT get an error
when trying to launch the application with the following message: ​"can't be opened
because it is from an unidentified developer.​" If you get this message, try
Right-Clicking on ‘Crossover’ and selecting ‘Open’ from the menu. When the warning
comes up, click on ‘Ok’. If it still does not launch, go to your ‘System Preferences’, then
“Security & Privacy’. In the bottom portion where it says, ‘Allow apps downloaded from:’,
make sure ‘Anywhere’ is selected. If not, select it and click on ‘Ok’. It may ask for your
password, depending on your security settings.

Now that ‘Crossover’ is now launched, click on Number 1, “Install Windows Software.’
An installer window will come up. In that first box, ‘Select an application to install’, scroll
all the way down to ‘Unsupported Applications’ and click on ‘Other Application’.

Select the next option, ‘Select an installer’. Click on ‘Choose Installer File’. A window will
pop up asking for the Windows installer file. Go to your desktop or wherever you
unzipped ‘Verse Generator 3.0’. In that folder select ‘setup.exe’ and click on ‘Use this
installer’.

Next, go to the next option which should say, ‘Will install into a new winxp bottle
‘setup.exe’. Under ‘Compatible Bottle’, select ‘New win98 bottle…’. For ‘New Bottle
Name:’, name it VERSEGEN. Now click on ‘Install’. The installation should start and the
setup menu should come up. Click on ‘Ok’ to continue. Click on the computer button
where it says, ‘Click this button to install Verse Generator 3.0 software to the specified
destination directory’. The installation should start but stop and come to a pop-up
screen that says ‘Version Conflict’ asking you if you want to keep this file. MAKE SURE
YOU CLICK ‘NO’. Verse Generator will not work properly if you click yes.

Once the installation completes, you can click on done and you will see a ‘Verse
Generator 3.0’ logo come up that has a star. Go ahead and drag this to your dock for
easy access. Launch ‘Verse Generator 3.0’ and wait a few seconds for the program to
appear.
