The three housing areas where our workshops are held all fal into this category Workshop Output: Each workshop produced a number of statements defining problems and challenges of a deprived housing area. Architecture and Urban design from the University of Wa- shington in Seattle US} She is co-founder and managing director of Gehl ‘Architects, where she works with urban planning both internationally cand nationally, Recenily she has been responsible for developing the Rijeka harbour area in Croatia and designing streetscape for main streets in Copenhagen. Helle Sahat! gives lectures at schools and insitutions ail over the world (eg, Australia, Thalland, Scotand and Lithuania}. Belinda Tato graduated from the Architecure School of Madrid (ETSAM) ‘and from the Bartlett School of Architecture in London. She is partner ‘and co-founder of Ecosistema Urbano. Currently the studio is involved In research projects financed by the Spanish Ministry of industry regar- ding future paths of city design called “eco-techno-logical-cities”. They dare also working on the second phase of the EcoBoulevard project in Madrid and the Meteorological Museum in the historical Buen Retiro Park in Madrid. Recently they have published ct monograph of their projects entitled Monoespacios'8.
