Introduction
The tremendous effect of the computer and computing technology is in shaping modern
society for the betterment of mankind.
Getting computer access and internet connectivity for all children is a tremendous
technological and economic challenge.
However, given the pervasive impact of computer technologies, we need to attend to this
infrastructure challenge seriously and explore viable and innovative alternatives with
regard to hardware, software and internet connectivity technologies appropriate for rural
and urban schools in TamilNadu.
Heading Content
Topic a subject that is discussed, written about, or studied
Introduction A preliminary explanation prefixed to or included in a
book
Learning Objective The learning objective provides a detailed description of
what the student will be able to do when the instruction
ends.
Learning Outcomes Successful students will the acquire the technical
knowledge and develop the skills needed
Sub Topics A subject that forms part of a topic
The Chapter Activity Planner is a tool that makes planning and conducting
chapter activities with fun and effective.
• Shift Class Test of shorter duration with flexible time to reduce stress
• view learning as a search for meaning out of personal experience, and knowledge
generation.
• view knowledge not only as embedded in the textbooks, but also as teaching-learning
and personal experience.
Conclusion
This handbook is meant for guiding the teachers at the initial level before handling the
classes and to find the suitable methodologies to make the classroom interactions very
effective.
This handbook should always remind us as educators, never to stop thinking about new
ways and how to become better educators whilst always keeping with the parameters of
our profession.

• Flow of control statements should be used in proper context to check with the
appropriate cases.
42
• State is a basic and important abstraction. The state at any point of execution
is simply the values of the variables at that point.
43
• Control statements are compound statements, used to alter the control flow
depending on the state of the process
• Decomposition involves the breaking down of a problem into smaller and more
manageable problems, and combining the solutions of the smaller problems to
solve the original problem

The only remedial measure is repetition of this chapter by the student time and again.
The iterative statements or recursive statements should have proper exit condition.
Otherwise it leads to an infinite repetition.
