The truth is that the poverty will not end by 2030 not even extreme poverty as it is strongly linked

with the developing countries in sense of education value and environment provided to students in
developed countries. However, the inner situation is not different both in developed and
developing countries. Both have extreme poverty but fact is that developed countries hide it using
their power such as the big six nations. In case of developing countries, they cannot hide poverty
as they are extremely dependent on the developed countries. World bank initiative to end the
extreme poverty by 2030 will not work as developing countries will take loan from developed
countries and when a country takes loan, every single person of that country will be buried under
it. Such as in my country we took loan from every single organization of the world and yet there
are more than 70% children out of school. The prime reason is that those funds does not reach the
needy persons. People do not have even the basic needs such as water, food, roof, medical, and
adequate education to live a simple life. Even as a Muslim country, we are not able to end the
poverty as rich are not paying taxes and poor do not have income to pay the taxes. Since years
using my personal links and collection, I have collected food packages for people, clothes, paying
educational fees to different school children but the fact is that no one is concerned enough about
the other person on the micro level that is needed to establish a society. Every human of this world
is so much indulged in their own problems that they do not have time for other problems. My
potential role for working in world bank would be educating a society up to a level to understand
their religion norms and importance of education and I want to start it on a higher level. To train
our parliamentarians, ministers, and core people of society who have the power to take the
decisions. We need educated people on these posts to make a valuable society. Applying to world
bank and writing this essay is very difficult for me after the recent panama case scandal of our
President and his family. It has ashamed all of us and still we cannot do anything as we are just
normal people without power. I have following suggestions for world bank in order to end the
extreme poverty, infact to minimize it:
1. Stop giving loan to the country level.
2. Stop investing in programs that do not involve people at micro level
3. Pick educated people, train them to generate teams and convey world bank initiatives to
higher authorities.
4. Distribute funds only through established divisions of world bank in each country
5. To get the accurate data, the surveys must be conducted at lower level in each society and
understand the problems. For this each country must have different team members at
different locations for getting the accurate data.
6. No one will work voluntarily, that should be understood. To resolve problems, it need
financial assets
7. Establish world bank schools for free education, using locally trained world bank teachers
8. If you educate the woman, you will educate the generation. Focus should be educating
woman to understand their society norms.
9. There should be short processes with elimination of useless processes. The funds are not
reached to the needy due the long processes that eat up all the things.
My biggest aim to establish free education school with value like developing countries so that
people send their children to them. Second aim to train the educated society to understand the
humanitarian norms and get them out of the selfish feelings. Third is to train the higher staff,
people like MNA, MPA have powers and if they utilize it in a good way then everything is possible.
Rest the competitive advantage will increase unless we take the poor countries on the same level
as developing countries. Otherwise, next time it would be ending extreme poverty by 2050 and so
on.
