in Elementary Education, I will
obtain my teacher license with the
state of AZ.I have began working
towards my goal of earning 300 +
professional development hours. I
have taken Monica Genta’s Crushing
It For Kids 21- Day Challenge, this
was a course that wasw worth 15
professional development hours.
To achieve 300 + professional
development hours over a three year
time span, it would be reasonable to
try to complete at least 8 professional
development hours each month for 36
months.

explicit instruction for the first two
weeks of school, with less time of
instruction in the second week of
school than in the first. I-Charts will
be used to give them the exact
expectations of what all routines look
like, sound like, and feel like.

such as recess, specials, and other
personal time.

completing graduate classwork
through GCU. All of these resources
would help to contribute in informing
my instruction, assisting in my
reflection of my lessons and
assessment of my students.
Resources available in completing
this goal are internet rich resources,
especially blogs, in-person
conferences, and other professional
development opportunities that can be
found through a number of sources to
include personnel at the school of
your employment. The union website
that I sign up for will also provide me
with a lot of information regarding
opportunities for development
professionally. There are
opportunities to sign up for EdCamps
or TeachMeets, that allow teachers to
come together to collaborate.
