JOINT AFFIDAVIT OF LEGITIMATION

We, CECILIO CATALAN TECHON and DHARYL A. TARRANZA-TECHON, both

Filipinos, both of legal age, married to each other and with residence address at Cabugao,
Bato, Catanduanes, after having sworn on oath in accordance with law, hereby depose
and say:

1. That we are the biological parents of MARK JAMES TARRANZA who was
born at DBB Municipal Hospital at Dasmariñas, Cavite on August 6, 1999,
and has been duly registered on August 16, 1999 under Registry No. 99-
7865, at the Local Civil Registrar of Dasmariñas Cavite;

2. That at the time of his conception and birth, we, the biological parents were
not yet married and we were not disqualified by any legal impediment to
marry each other;

3. That we were married subsequently on November 3, 2005, at the Office of

the Municipal Mayor of Teresa, Rizal, with the ceremonies being
solemnized by Hon. Rodel N. Dela Cruz, and was duly registered at the
Local Civil Registrar of Teresa, Rizal under Registry No. 2005-212;

4. That by reason of our subsequent valid marriage, our son, MARK JAMES
TARRANZA had been legitimated and bestowed with all rights and
privileges pertaining to a legitimate child, including the right to use the
surname of the father.

5. That we are executing this joint affidavit to attest to the above facts and for
all legal intents and purposes it may serve.
