MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

KNOW ALL MEN BY THIS PRESENTS:

This MEMORUNDUM OF AGREEMENT made and entered into by and between:

The TAGUIG CITY UNIVERSITY (TCU), educational institution with main campus at General
Santos Ave., Central Bicutan Taguig City represented by Dr.Ofelia M. Carague, Vice-President for
Academics Affairs of Taguig City University.

The Barangay Chairman of ______________________________________ with the principal address

at________________________________________________________herein referred to as the Barangay
Chairman.

Whereas, the University is offering Literacy Training Service (LTS) and Civic Welfare Training
Service(CWTS) which requires students enrolled in NSTP102 required 60hours service.

Whereas, the parties have entered this joint venture and enter their agreement under the following
conditions:

A. University
The University shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
1. To see to it that the STUDENT-TRAINEE is Physically and Mentally prepared and
enrolled in NSTP 2;
2. To provide faculty whose is to ensure that the students are safe and aware of their duties
and responsibilities;
3. To remind the faculty to coordinate with the participating Barangay; and
4. To prepare an official report regarding to conduct of their training.

B. BARANGAY
The participating Barangay shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
1. To accept as recommended by the University and qualifies STUDENT-TRAINEE;
2. To train STUDENT-TRAINEE in work/job relevant to the Literacy Training Program
3. To ensure that the STUDENT-TRAINEE is safe and protected against harm during
his/her stay in the Barangay;
4. To report to the University through its faculty all information, issues, misbehavior or
complaints affecting the students;
5. To help the University assess the performance of the said STUDENT-TRAINEE at the
end of the 60 hours service.
This AGREEMENT shall be in full force and shall take effect immediately upon signing hereof by
the PARTIES. Period covered from MarchtoMay2019, otherwise extended or revokes by agreement
of the PARTIES.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, The PARTIES have hereunto affixed their signature this ___ day of
March 2019 in the City of Taguig Philippines.
