A. Content Standard
The learner demonstrates understanding of: South and West Asian literature as an expression of
philosophical and religious beliefs; information flow in various text types; reality, fantasy, and opinion
in listening and viewing materials; word decoding strategies; and use of information sources,
active/passive constructions, direct/reported speech, perfect tenses, and logical connectors in
journalistic writing.
B. Performance Standard
The learner transfers learning by composing a variety of journalistic texts, the contents of which may
be used in composing and delivering a memorized oral speech featuring use of properly
acknowledged information sources, grammatical signals for opinion-making, persuasion, and
emphasis, and appropriate prosodic features, stance and behaviour.

Task 1: Motivation/Review
Teacher will show a video about Preposition.
Students take note of all the prepositions used in the video. Students mention all
prepositions found in the
Task 2: Recall the video and fill-in the blank in the given sentences with the video.

(The teacher will divide the class into 3 rows. Each row that got the correct
answer will receive 5 pts. Every incorrect answers will be deducted to the total
score.

D. Application:
Group activity
a. Students will be grouped into 8 groups.
b. Each group will be given a picture with prepositional phrase.
c. Based on pictures students will construct sentences using the given
prepositional phrase and write something on how to
preserved/conserve our environment.

Ask the students this question.
