Grade 10 - St. Thomas

"What can I do for the next generation?"

There is one thing that I can actually do for the next generation. It is to give them the advice they need in
order to live with the struggles and circumstances they are facing in the near future.

First, start to follow your heart. In solving math problems, sometimes we actually doubt on what our
heart can calculate. We solve problems using what our heart thinks and says, and we doubt to follow it
thinking that it isn't right. And so, we used our brain to solve it, confident that the solution and
calculations were right. When the time has come and you are able to see the correct answer. You
regreted. You should've follow your heart.

Just like in our life, we intend to always follow our mind without considering what we truly feel. We
always thought that it is the right thing to do but in reality, it is not. We should remember that
sometimes it is not bad to follow what our heart thinks and says, it might actually be the right thing to
do, but we chose to ignore it.

Second, follow rules and principles. Every math situations, there is a rule to be followed. In order to get
the right answer, we must follow the rules completely. Sometimes, the reason why we can't find the
answer is because we never follow the rules.

In life, circumstances happen that stop us from obtaining or achieving something. It's because we don't
follow the rules. We are stubborn enough to just slack and let whatever happens happen. There are rules
in life that we shouldn't break. To be a good student, daughter, citizen and as a person, we must look
onto the rules and principles that teaches us to be someone who's heart is filled with genuineness and
delicacies.

Lastly, remember that failure is not a death sentence. Math problems is not a one time thing to deal
with. That if you committed a mistake, you're done. You could always correct your mistakes. You're not
perfect. Don't be that someone who don't want to continue finding the correct answer just because you
fail at first. You can always try and try and learn from the mistakes you made.

There would come a time in your life that you did something that was actually wrong. It was a mistake
and you don't even meant doing it. Instead of downgrading yourself even more, you should learn from
your mistakes and move on with your life. No mistake you walk away from is worth stressing over. God
accepted you even if you sin, why can't you also do that to yourself?

These advices would work out for the next generations. The things that I said where worth reading to
because you will find it difficult to live knowins that changes may occur all the time.

Decision making would be hard but always have faith in yourself and pray to God. Before taking any step,
think twice, ask yourself whether this decision is going to benefit me or not, if yes, then how.
