THIRD GRADING PERIOD

10 – EDISON

VENUE : CLASSROOM OF 10 EDISON

The 3rd HRPTA meeting started with the parents’ registration, an attendance sheet
was provided for them with the help of my Class Secretary Jhodyn Arojado. At 4: 10 pm the
meeting was called to order with 40 parents present. My Class President Jogiena Ann Guinto
was ask to lead the prayer.

The following Agenda were set before the approval our Principal
a. Adviser’s report on Student’s Performance/problems
b. Absentism
c. Tardiness
d. Failing grades
e. PTA donations

In the meeting, Mrs. Luchelle Miranda the mother of one my advisee students who’s
a transferee of this school was asked to pay closer attention to her son’s failed subjects. The
parents of Aldrin Manalese, Virsan Simbulan, Richard Suva and Princess Abby Dinio were
advised to have keener supervision of their children’s performance for they have one to
three failed subjects this grading period especially Richard Suva who had 5 failed subjects
because of absentism, it was explained to them that low academic performance of their
children may effect of their acceptance to their chosen school for senior high school. The
parents were also reminded of their obligation to pay for the PTA donation. The cards were then
distributed to the parents. Majority were satisfied with their children’s grades. Submission
of report cards was set on February 4 and 6, 2019. Some parents, after knowing their children’s
grades showed excitement on knowing who form the Top achievers. The names of the students
who made it in the Top achievers were announced. The ranking was also posted in the
bulletin board. At the last few minutes of the meeting, the parents were asked to react and
share anything they want. They were even encouraged to ask questions for clarification.
Being generally peaceful and successful, the meeting ended at 4:55 p.m

Assembly
The meeting started at 4 o’clock PM with a short prayer
Checked the attendance
Introduce myself as an Adviser to be recognizes
Conversation with the parents/guardians regarding the
state of their children
Informed the parents/guardians about school policies or
rules and donations
Giving of Report Cards / Form 138
Recognized the Top Achievers
Asked the Parent/Guardians to meet the subject Teachers
(only who got failing grades)
Ended the meeting with a short parayer at 5:10 PM
