Throughout the learning session, the students are expected to:
1. define compensation, wages and performance evaluation;
2. differentiate the three types of compensation from each other;
3. identify the policy guidelines on compensation/wages and performance evaluation/appraisal
(ABM_AOM11-IIa-b-23);
4. discuss theories related to compensation;
5. give examples of work on each basis for compensation;
6. cite purposes of performance evaluation;
7. cite examples on each performance appraisal method; and
8. give reasons why some evaluation programs fail.
