Write a paragraph giving advice about the best place to spend a summer vacation. Use modal verbs
of advice and the vocabulary you learned in this week. Pay special attention to the following:
You should go on a summer vacation to Santa Marta, for that you should look for a hotel which
shouldn't be far from the sea. You should also buy plane tickets with time, had better arrive at the
airport on time. You should sunbathe very early in the morning, you should not sunbathe from 10
am to 4 pm. The return home shouldn´t be late if you have to work.

and wanted to take me, my ears suffered from so much noise, I really felt very afraid at that moment

Hi Mum

John and I are having a wonderful time here in Ireland. Every day we got upped early and go for a
long walk in the country. When we returned we usually had a very big Irish breakfast which
normally consisted of two eggs, three slices of bacon, toast and jam. We usually ordered a cup of
coffee after breakfast: Colombian coffee, of course.

After breakfast we sometimes went swimming in the river. We often met children who like to swim

I am writing to tell you that six months ago I have a new job as a commercial consultant in a travel
agency

The travel agency is called fly with your dreams, we have 50 points of attention in shopping centers
in the city of Bogota, at each point we work 3 people from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm from Sunday to
Sunday, I rest one day weekday; although in high season the hours are extended until 8:00 p.m. and
the rest day I take home to list of clients to manage them over the phone, although they pay for each
additional hour worked. The premises have walls with the world map and white walls, to decoration
and televisions where we reproduce our advertising, 3 work stations each with a computer and
advertising flyers, we have in each position 2 chairs to serve our customers. The uniform that I have
in this agency is very comfortable and beautiful, we wear suits and very comfortable heels.1
The office that I am in, is located in the commercial center of Santa Fe. I have a large table where I
serve customers, two comfortable chairs and a waiting room with a television with advertisements
of the sites and hotels, on the table I have the computer where I keep all the information of the
clients and in the brochures booklets to deliver to the clients, the facilities of the commercial center
are very comfortable for the entrance of the clients, all the companions of the office are very cordial
and friendly allowing to deliver good service to customers. 2
I really like my work because, I make dreams come true for our clients and seeing the happiness on
their faces is the most emotional, their happy faces when we have the dates of their trips, the
itinerary that they are going to do and everything that goes to know, I also enjoy it a lot. the joy of
the clients when they finish their trip is gratifying because they are satisfied with their requirements
and they recommend us to make our company more recognized. This work is very good.3
I do not like long days, because they are the most arduous, there is a lot of work and commitment
with our clients; Whenever we have extra hours, we are exhausted and we do not have time to rest,
it is a long issue but the idea is that our clients feel satisfied with our work, I love my work but I do
not like the extra hours.4
