The last little stretch that we have of 2016 is seemingly becoming more and more

impossible. Between finals, going back home to an expectant family, and taking a
look at the year you have just finished and looking to a brand new one, it can be
pretty stressful.

One of my favorite sayings is to have no fear because God is near. So, keeping that
in mind, here are some Bible verses to refer to when you hit a bump in the road.

When you feel as if you're not good enough:

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male
and female he created them.

Genesis 1:27

When you feel as if the world is caving in around you:

I, I am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not
remember your sins.

Isaiah 43:25

When you are doubting your abilities:

Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will
complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

Phil 1:6

When you feel as if one bad grade will make or break you:
"But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect
in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that
the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content
with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am
weak, then I am strong."

2 Corinthians 12:9

When you don't think you can study any more:

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen
you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 41:10

When you question being at college at all:

"But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.

2 Chronicles 15:7

When you're terrified of letting someone down:

"Others were given in exchange for you. I traded their lives for yours because you
are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you."

Isaiah 43:4

When you're terrified of letting yourself down:

"You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you."

Song of Songs 4:7

When anxiety is about to take the best of you:

Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give
it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.

John 14:27

When you are on the verge of tears from frustration:

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do
not give up.

Galatians 6:9

When all you want is a fresh start:

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away;
behold, the new has come."

2 Corinthians 5:17

And finally, here is a verse to sum it all up.

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you
will have tribulation...

But take heart; I have overcome the world.
