Solar Objection Handling

Not Interested:

a) I can understand your concern (XYZ) but we are not selling anything as this is not a sales
call. We are just providing you information about Solar Panels & Solar Energy, and how you
can qualify for them to reduce your electricity bills by 40 – 50 % every month.

b) Well what is it exactly you are not interested in (XYZ)? Are you not interested in
purchasing Solar Panels or not interested in benefiting your home & family.

c) I’m sorry (XYZ) I was under the impression you actually cared about your home and
family and wanted to learn how you can have a decent amount of savings to do all sorts
of activities you haven’t thought of because of the high costing electricity bill.

1) What’s the catch? What’s the Cost?

a) (XYZ) just to clear the air we are not selling Solar Panels to you. We are providing you
free information that includes different programs with low to zero money coming out of
your pocket. Those programs include quotes as well which are free so there is no
obligation what so ever to buy.

b) Well we aren’t selling the Solar Panels so there is no catch or cost, but if you find the
information we are providing is suitable and one of the Solar Panel programs are within
your budget, if you think it’s feasible; something you can afford and you want to go for,
you are more than welcome to, otherwise there is no cost, and no obligation.

c) If you decide to go ahead with one of the Solar Panel programs you are simply going to
pay a discounted rate against your electricity bill which should be 40 – 50 % less than
what you are paying right now. So for example before getting Solar Panels you are
paying $250.00 on your electricity bills, and go with one of our programs, with the help
of Solar Panels the energy you use will be discounted so instead of paying $250.00 your
bill should range between $125 - $150.
2) Who is going to pay for the Solar Panels?

a) I know it sounds too good to be true but you can actually go solar without paying a single
cent. Basically in this process you can qualify for a PPA (Power Purchase Agreement)
which the Solar Consultant or Installer can explain in detail, but at the end of the day the
Panels are paid for.

b) You the homeowner are going to pay for the Solar Panels without actually paying for
them. The way it works is real simple. You simply are going to pay for the reduced cost
on electricity once you get the Solar Panels and for the amount of time that you have it;
the Solar Panel cost is taken care of.

c) The Solar Company would install the Panel on your roof at its expense and, in exchange
collects the government subsidies.

3) Why are the Solar Panels for free?

a) Solar companies install the solar energy panels free of charge, and pay for any
maintenance and connection charges. Then they collect any profit from the green
electricity that is generated. You benefit from the free electricity generated from the solar
energy panels, without any of the cost.

b) In April 2010, the government introduced the Feed-in Tariff as part of a drive to reduce
carbon emissions in the US. With the Feed-in Tariff you get paid for generating your own
renewable energy.

c) The company will take the money your solar panels earn from the Feed-in Tariff to
recoup its investment.

4) What’s in it for you?

a) Well we get paid by the hour regardless. It certainly does not make a difference if you
purchase the Solar Panels or not.

11) Do I need batteries?

a) No. Solar America systems are grid-tied, meaning they’re connected to the public utility
grid that currently supplies electricity to your home.

12) How long do the Solar Panels last?

a) Solar panels are expected to last 50+ years. The longevity is derived from the panel’s
simple design and the lack of moving parts. The panels simply sit on your roof and
generate electricity when exposed to sunlight.
