Dear Ms.Laurin:

Nice to meet you. We might already met through my student government application, but I will
reintroduce myself for the sake of this assignment. My name is Pat, but you can call me anything similar
to that. I’m left handed and I’m very proud of that, even though I don’t use my left hand on some sort of
activities such as dribbling basketball.

Something worth knowing about me is that I have a lot of interest in Japan and its culture. I think I can
talk about Japan all day long, since I really feel comfortable traveling there or even just learning more
about it. For my reading, I don’t really like to read anything containing a lot of texts such as novel,
especially ones with hard or ancient words. What I usually enjoy reading is comics, graphic novels, and
poems. Other than that, I read stuffs online to get caught up to the world. Another thing that I think you
should know about me the most is my way of learning. I am a kind of person that learns the best during
class, but not through homework. It is true that when I practice something, I usually get better at it pretty
quickly, but I don’t think that I’m willing to do educational kind of activities and would end up getting
worse.

In this upcoming AP Literature class, I am looking forward to be discussing a lot in the class and keep
every work within the class, meaning that I don’t expect works to be done out of the class. I really hope
for more focus on class discussion than other sorts of work in the class. In my opinion, this helps me learn
a lot. If possible, I’m aiming for an A grade from this class, since there are no definite answer to a
question; all questions are open ended. But judging from my skills, I think I would probably get a B.
About the AP Literature exam, it would be one of my highest priority, since I have no idea what it is
going to look like.

I believe that you now know the essentials about me. I hope you the best on taking care of all of us.

Sincerely,

Thanawin Boonpojanasoontorn (Pat)
