Overall Comments:

It has been an absolute pleasure having Danielle as a student teacher in our classroom. She came to this placement
eager to learn and with a background in working with children. She is patient with the students and easily adapts her
teaching to meet their individual needs. During her placement, Danielle handled daily routines, and established proper
order and discipline. Her caring and consistent manner enabled her to connect with students who had both academic
and social challenges. Danielle made a special effort to praise difficult students when they were behaving appropriately
and to recognize quiet students for their diligent work. She was welcomed enthusiastically by the students in our
challenging JK/SK classes. Danielle was actively involved in their learning on a consistent basis. She spent countless
hours preparing for lessons to ensure the students would love them and want to learn what she was teaching. She was
always prompt and ready to take on the day at school. Danielle was always willing to help out wherever needed, and
immersed herself in our school culture. She will be a valuable asset to any school staff. We congratulate Danielle on a
very successful first practicum.
