AGREEMENT FOR RECOGNITION

2019

As an honor student from New Era University, I understand that the vision of NEU is to be a world-class
Institution of learning with a unique Christian culture of excellence, discipline, and service to
humanity.
Having this in mind, I am committed to follow the rules and regulations set by the University concerning
the 3rd recognition exercises:
Before the Recognition Exercises

1. I will attend all the rehearsals for Recognition 2019 set by the University Administration.
2. I will not be late in all of the scheduled rehearsals for Recognition 2019.
3. I will not display unruly behavior during the rehearsals for Recognition 2019.
4. I will wear complete and proper school uniform with NEU ID during all rehearsals.
5. I will not disrespect any University Official during all the rehearsals.
6. I understand that if I absent myself twice in the two scheduled rehearsals and/or if I miss
the final rehearsal, the University Officials have the right to exclude me from joining the
Recognition Exercises.
7. I understand that using any electronic gadget (cellphones, tablets, cameras, and other recording
devices)
is prohibited.
8. I understand that chewing gums and eating are prohibited during the rehearsals.
9. I will follow all the house rules being implemented in all the venues of the rehearsals.
10. I will take care of all my belongings because I understand that NEU is not liable for any loss of
property during the rehearsals.
11. To help improve the event, I will report to the Academic Committee/School Officials any negative
comments that I have instead of posting it on social media.
During the Recognition Exercises
1. I will not be late in attending the Recognition program.
2. I understand that if I arrive late for the Recognition Ceremony, the University Officials have the right
to exclude me from the roll of awardees who will be called on stage.
3. I will wear proper school uniform during the Recognition Ceremony.
4. I will not be unruly during the Recognition. I will avoid shouting and howling because I understand
that clapping of the hands is enough to show appreciation.
5. I will not make any gimmick during the Recognition (e.g. bringing of signage and other stunts).
6. I will finish the entire Recognition Program.
7. I will do everything // to prepare myself and attend to all my needs (e.g. going to the bathroom,
eating, retouching make-up, etc.) before the Recognition Ceremony starts so I will be able to help in
preserving the orderliness and solemnity of the occasion.
8. I will not disrespect any University Official during the Recognition Exercises.
9. I understand that awardees are not allowed to bring electronic devices (cellphones, tablets,
cameras, and other recording devices) during the Recognition Exercise. As such, I will ensure that
my electronic devices are left with my companions for safekeeping until the Recognition Program
ends.
10. I understand that chewing gums, eating, and drinking are prohibited during the entire
Recognition
Ceremony.
11. I will follow all the house rules being implemented in the venue of the Recognition Exercises.
12. I will take care of all my belongings because I understand that NEU is not liable for any loss of
property during the Recognition Exercises.
13. I will sing the NEU Hymn with sincerity and I will pay attention to all the speakers to ·show my
respect and appreciation.
14. To keep the solemnity and order of the program, I will reserve all congratulatory greetings
after the ceremony.
15. To help improve the event , I will report to the Academic Committee any negative comments
on Recognition that I have, instead of posting it on social media.

In my absence during the Recognition Program, I need to inform my adviser or Grade level Coordinator
three (3) days before the Ceremony with an attachment of my written explanation for my absence

As proof of my conformity to the above mentioned rules and regulations I have signed my name below. To
prove that I have also informed my parents/guardians about these rules and regulations and they conform
to them, they have also affixed their signature on this agreement.
