I. Introduction
The Episcopal Commission for Youth in Myanmar has received the project from Conferenxa
Episcopale Italiana for Corsi di inglese e informatica per giovani di 16 Commissioni
diocesane per la gioventù e alloggi per lo staff della Commissione cattolica per la
Gioventù- triennio 2014-2016 on 13 giugno 2014. It was for the first Installment for 2014.
II. Description
Above mention project was for three years programs. It was started on 2014 to 2015 for first
year programs for English and Computer trainings and Capacity building for the Staffs of
National Catholic Youth Commission. The situation of Country of Myanmar is changing and
encouraging young people to look for new ways of Educational programs. On the part of the
National Catholic Youth Commission made some plans for young people especially for the
educational programs and development programs for vocational training as well. Vocational
education is the quickest way to give them the skills to find jobs. We suffered from a very
bad education system for many decades. Therefore, the Church needs to find out ways and
means for the new generation especially for their education and knowing the language of
English and other capacity for Job description.
III. Project management

The project was for 9 months programs in first year 2014-2015. The grant for first installment
was sent by C.E.I on 13 giugno 2014. The National Catholic Youth Commission invites
youth from 16 dioceses to take part in the program of National Catholic Youth Commission.
Some of them came one month ahead but the programs are for 9 months. The NCYC
volunteers staffs also attend some courses.During their stayed in Yangon, the youth
commission arranged for them Food and Loading, Training fees, transportation and taken
care their safety during in training periods.
We rent four houses for them to stay and learn lessons.
There were four learning centers for English Language, in which they studied,

Some of them received certificates for English and computer and the beginner for English
Courses are not gotten certificates. Most of them got certificates for both trainings. There
were 20 youth attended for above mention project.

VI. Financial Management
The National Catholic Youth Commission takes responsibilities for them during 9 months
especially for food, lodging, bus fare and training fees.
VII. Achievement
1. 17 youth from 16 dioceses could attend 3 level courses for English and Computer
trainings
2. 3 Staffs of NCYC attend IELT , LCCI level2 , English and Human resource
management training
The National Catholic Youth Commission would like to thank C.E.I for granting above
project for Myanmar Young People.
