What was the reason behind the creation of the factions?

Do you think the factions are

working “toward a better society and a better world” (p. 44) as they say they are?
What doesn’t seem to be working at all?

The reason why the government do the factions system is to create peace in society
where there is no war, they work as their characters and one person just have one
characters only, I think it wouldn’t make the world better because basically we cant just
live in one characters we need more than one character to make a better society.

What choices have you made that have changed you? What future choices will you
also make, and how do you think that they will change you?

maturity makes me change my life I’ve learned to be mature that makes me thinks and
listen before speaks when theres problem in my life, I will choose to being my self not
compare myself with the other because everyones have their own uniqness. do what I
want to do, not harming others and can help many people and I think it will make a big
impacts to me some day.

Why is Tris's government run only by members of Abnegation? Do you think this is a
good idea? Do you agree with her father’s statement that “valuing knowledge
above all else results in a lust for power, and that leads men into dark and empty places
” (p. 35)? Why or why not?

Because they are selflessness ,I think is not a good idea and I agree for this statement,
everyone if they have the strength and intelligence they will be very ambitious to
control everything, and they will do everything they can to achieve their goals but it
doesn’t means that we haven’t valuing knowledge because knowledge it also
important but knowledge with the selflessness its value added, so that’s why we need a
balance all of factions in a society.
Tris says about Candor, “It must require bravery to be honest all the time” (p. 62). Do
you agree? Which do you think is a braver faction, Dauntless or Candor? Would you
like to live in a society like Candor, where everyone tells the truth no matter how hard it
is to hear?

I agree that honest to all situation is require bravery because sometimes truth hard to
hear but the truth are needed to make a relation in society dauntless and candor have
their own braver action with their own different prespective because the people in
dauntless are also have their own fears. The earth is pure truth and pure beauty so why no
to live with the truthness.

What is the difference between being fearless and learning to control your fears? Do
you believe anyone can be truly fearless? What does Tris mean when she says that “
half of bravery is perspective” (p. 458)?

Fearless means we don’t scare with anything and learning to control your fears means we has a
fear but trying to be “not problem” with that, I believe theres no one can be truly
fearless because yes it is perspective we don't know what others have gone through
and anyone has their own fears.
