Undergraduate Thesis: “The Effect of Pain on Hemorrhage and Recovery after Traumatic Brain Injury”
• Currently working on a yearlong independent project under the guidance of faculty advisor Dr. Jim Grau. During the course of
this project I am learning surgical techniques, tissue collection, and histological techniques.
Dr. Jim Grau Lab: Research on Neurotrauma, Pain, and Plasticity Spring 2017-present
• Worked as an undergraduate research assistant contributing to experiments through analysis and collection of data
• Executed tasks such as protein analysis, blood pressure collection, surgery, and behavioral testing.
• Conducted extensive literature review to better understand research and formulate experiments
Campus Involvement
• Led the committee responsible for reaching out to professionals to speak at meetings and for organizing professional events
during weekly meetings
