Berger, professor of sociology at Rutgers, is . the author of many books, including Invitation to Sociology (also available in Pelicans), The Social Construction of Reality (with Thomas Luckmann; a Penguin University Book) and The Sacred Canopy, which deals with the sociology of religion. He is one of the editors of the magazine Worldview. Brigitte Berger teaches at Long Island University and is the author of Societies in Change. She and Peter Berger have collaborated on a textbook: Sociology: A Biographical Approach. Hansfried Kellner teaches at the University of Darmstadt in West Germany.
