ORDER FOR IMMEDIATE CLOSURE OF Club 1210, LLC aka The Groove Lounge aka Community Empowerment Organization March 26, 2019 Club 1210, LLC 1210 Broadway Buffalo, NY 14206 Re: IMMEDIATE CLOSURE OF CLUB 1210, LLC aka THE GROOVE LOUNGE aka COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT ORGANIZATION ‘To Whom It May Concern: A dire emergency currently exists in the area of 1210 Broadway Ave as a result of the disruptive and violent behavior that has taken place immediately outside of Club 1210 LLC, aka The Groove Lounge aka Community Empowerment Organization, located at 1210 Broadway Ave in the City of Buffalo, (On March 24, 2019 at approximately 0304 hours a shooting took place in the parking lot of Club 1210 LLC, aka The Groove Lounge aka Community Empowerment Organization involving at least one patton of Club 1210 LLC, aka The Groove Lounge aka Community Empowerment Organization wherein that same person was shot and killed while seated inside of his vehicle. Additionally, there were hundreds of patrons in the parking lot at the time of the shooting that were extremely disorderly to the point that three police districts had to respond to maintain order and protect/control the crime scene. Security at Club 1210 LLC, aka The Groove Lounge aka Community Empowerment Organization was not able to handle ‘the amount of people that were in and outside of the club. ‘Asa result, I have deemed that the immediate closure of Club 1210 LLC, aka The Groove Lounge aka Community Empowerment Organization is necessary to promote and secure the preservation of peace and good order.
