3. Product Description
Basic Use
Merah Putih PPC is useful for masonry and concrete applications. It has
been produced by eco-technology, sophisticated equipment, and good materials
from PT Cemindo Gemilang Tbk. Merah Putih PPC will generate high quality
and consistent result also not easy to crack. This product was designed
specifically for easy use with right composition. It is suitable for any types of
building like structure work, plastering, coating, etc.

Composition and Materials

Merah Putih PPC consist of a homogeneous mixture of portland cement
with pozzolan, which is produced by grinding portland cement clinker and
pozzolan together, or mixing portland cement powder with pozzolan powder. It
is contain 6% to 40% pozzolan content in a PPC mixture.

Pozzolan is a material that consist of silica and alumina, which has not
binding properties such as cement, but if it get the water, it will react chemically
with calcium hydroxide at room temperature to form a compund like cement
properties

Types
 IP-U Type, is PPC that can be used for all purpose of making concrete mix.
 IP-K Type, is PPC that can be used for all purpose of making concrete mix,
it has medium sulfate resistant and medium hydration heat.
 P-U Type, is PPC that can be used for making concrete mix where it is not
required high initial strength.
 P-K Type, is PPC that can be used for making concrete mix where it is not
required high initial strength and it has medium sulfate resistance and low
hydration heat.

Charasteristic of Portland Pozzolan Cement

 Portland Pozzolan Cement is ecofriendly and made of natural recycled
waste. It helps in making quality building materials with the efficient use of
natural waste that reducing environmental pollution.

 Portland Pozzolan Cement has very good resistance against sulphate attack.
It can be used in hydraulic structures, marine structures, construction near
the sea shore, dam construction, etc.

building near the beach or area has acid levels.

curing as well as proper subgrade preparation, formwork, uniform slump and
other special techniques, very important to achieving the wanted results.

4. Distribution and Logistic

In land transport, most Cemindo Gemilang products are distributed by

truck. Train are being used as an alternative mode because it can transport larger
volumes faster. The railways is very important in the distribution of cement. In
2014, the company used new train routes from Nambo to Surabaya, Gresik and
from Arjawinangun to Gresik.

Meanwhile in sea transport, the company is increasing shipments using

containers, sling bags and bulk. The company has opened a new container
location at Bayah Factory Complex and allocated a warehouse for sling bags
shipments. Cemindo Gemilng also built the terminal closer to the main market.
New bulk cement terminals have been opened in Ciwandan, Banten and
Bengkulu to ensure better service to customers

5. Price

The official price of Semen Merah Putih packing size 50 kg is Rp. 60.000
and packing size 40 kg is Rp. 50.000 each bag but the price may differ depending
on the region. Price information can be obtained from the nearest Cemindo
