 Vehicle Access and Identification: Vehicle tracking is a system installed to enable

the owner or a third party to track the vehicle's location. Identifying a particular
Vehicle during In/Out and locating the movement of Vehicle in specified path and
giving Alerts and Alarms accordingly.

 Asset Tracking: The Asset tracking is to track what assets a company owns, where each is located, who has
it, when it was checked out, when it is due for return, when it is scheduled for maintenance, and the cost
and depreciation of each asset and giving Alerts and Alarms accordingly.

 Library Automation: Eco Track’s RFID Based Library Management System is a tried and tested solution that
uses UHF RFID technology. A solution where books are managed automatically by tagging with RFID tags,
thereby increasing productivity and reducing queuing time for issue and return of books. It helps in theft
detection and simplifies patron check out/ check in.

 Student Access and Attendance Management: A solution that enables the access to only authorized
people in the office premises. It is a standalone system that stores the database of employees. Generally
used for attendance and tracking purpose. RFID cards are used for identification of authorized people and
deny the access to restricted area.

Solution Introduction:
Vehicle tracking and providing access grants for vehicles is an ever increasing requirement in all business
environments. Our long range identification system is proposed to facilitate true hands free identification.
With our solution in place, vehicles can be identified from a distance up to 10 meters and at speed up to 200
km/hr accessible for fast and reliable identification even for robust and challenging environments.

This system is used by organizations in order to identify, authorize and grant access to residents/employees
etc. vehicles inside the premises. It is also being used at housing societies, Airports, Toll-gates, Car Rentals and
Warehouses for long range vehicle identification. This system has a scalability to identify both the vehicle and
also the driver. Our controller integrated within the RFID Transit reader facilitates offline authorization and
controls.

RFID Based Vehicle Identification System:

Vehicle Identification and Access Control using Radio Frequency Identification is a secure and convenient
solution for vehicle management at parking areas in institutes, residential societies, corporate houses,
Manufacturing units, strategic locations, paid parking arenas, airports, metro stations etc.

Passive UHF RFID system is ideally suited for Vehicle management applications, where affordability, low
maintenance cost, long read-range, high reliability and open connectivity are required.

The entry and exit of vehicles and hence capturing who’s in and who’s out can also be done .The generated
reports according to the fleet of the vehicles serves the purpose.

Challenges:
Most places track the vehicle entering/exiting their premises through manual verification & data entry
processes. Appointing security guards to verify the vehicle and driver and make an entry in a register may
seem cost effective, but there are inherent challenges associated with such manual checks.

 Limited visibility about vehicles moving IN / OUT of the premise.

 Unavailability of real time information. No information available about vehicle owners.

 Slow manual checks lead to queuing up of vehicles.

 Security breach possible in case guard is absent.

 Vehicles without RFID TAGS are not allowed to enter by the system.

 Security control and vehicle identifications are processed and completed within fraction of a second.

 With its parametric structure, the system can be adapted to all mechanical security systems (barrier,
garage doors, sliding door, etc.).

Process:
 An RFID tag (UHF with a long range) is affixed to the underside of a car that is to be allowed inside the
premises.

 Each gate has exit and entrance doors equipped with RFID readers and circular antennas.

 An antenna positioned some distance away senses an approaching vehicle, sends data to a central
server based system which analyzes if the vehicle is authorized or not, and opens the gates.

 A record is also automatically made which enters date & time of entry or exit. There is no “booth”
based security required.

 A single security guard deputed shall merely observes if the system is working properly and takes
necessary/ Alternate actions available in case of any mechanical/Electrical failures.

 Additionally a display can be provided near the gate, which shows information about the vehicle, its
validity, name of driver/owner, etc just as verification for the security guard, to double check the
system operation, as well as to detect if any passes/authorizations were swapped.

 Any kind of civil and electrical work is beyond the scope of work of Eco Tracksys Limited. To
be paid by the client.
 The material is inclusive of 1 year onsite warranty.
 Comprehensive warranty extra (if required @ 14% of hardware cost)
 The hardware will not be replaced in case of any physical damage done by the client.
