Hola Comunidad;
Como ustedes ya se habrán enterado, Windows Server 2019 iba a estar disponible en
el Mes de Octubre del 2018, pero no lo esperábamos tan pronto. Así que si eres un
cliente de Windows Server con Software Assurance válido, puede descargar Windows

 Server 2019 en el Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC). También puede descargar la
versión de evaluación de Windows Server 2019 en el Centro de evaluación.

No olvidar que Windows Server 2019 también está disponible en Azure

Marketplace.

Debemos de tener en cuenta los requisitos minimos para instalar Windows Server
2019, existe mucha documentación al respecto por lo que pueden consultarlo

Podemos resumirlo de la siguiente manera:

Procesador a 1,4 GHz de 64 bits.

Soporta NX y DEP.

Compatible con CMPXCHG16b, LAHF / SAHF y PrefetchW.

Soporta traducción de direcciones de segundo nivel (EPT o NPT).

Memoria RAM: 512 MB (2 GB para el servidor con opción de instalación de Experiencia de

escritorio).

32 GB de Espacio en Disco.

Algunas caracteristicas del CPU podemos obtenerla usando el CoreInfo, pueden

 Por ejemplo, voy a obtener la información de mi CPU usando el CoreInfo. Una vez que
yo tenga descargado lo descomprimo y el Coreinfo.exe lo traslado a la unidad C:/.

Ingresamos al Símbolo del Sistema como Administrador, y nos dirigimos hasta la

ruta C:\, escribimos Coreinfo.exe presionamos Enter, si hace falta acepte la licencia
solamente haciendo clic en Agree. Nos mostrará toda la información necesaria para
veri car si nuestro CPU soportará la instalación.

 Soporta NX y DEP

En el reporte nos indicará NX – Soporta.

Para veri car si DEP soporta, en la misma consola ingresamos a wmic, presionamos
enter y escribimos  OS Get DataExecutionPrevention_Available presionamos Enter y
si el resultado es TRUE, es porque el Hardware es Compatible.

Veri camos que soporta los 3 Requisitos.

Para no marearnos mucho, vamos a ejecutar Coreinfo.exe -v  y presionamos Enter. Si

es que no tenemos un HYPERVISOR instalado en la PC donde vamos a realizar la
instalación de Windows Server 2019, nos debería de indicar lo siguiente: En EPT y VMX
en vez de mostrar un guión (-) nos mostrará un Asterisco (*). En mi caso no lo muestra
ahí porque ya tengo habilitada la opción de HYPERVISOR.

 No olvidar que:

EPT = Procesadores Intel.

NPT = Procesadores AMD.

Ahora vamos a realizar la instalación!

Para ello nos hemos creado una Máquina Virtual (Cuento con el Hyper-V en Windows
10 – Actualización Octubre 2018) con todo los requerimientos mínimos necesarios, la
inicio con la ISO cargada y espero un momento.

Nos mostrará el típico Wizard, seleccionamos el Formato del Tiempo y Moneda que
será Spanish (Perú), luego clic en Next (Se supone que tenemos un teclado
Latinoamericano).

 Clic en Install Now.

 Esperamos…

 Colocamos la clave del Producto, clic en Next.

 Seleccionamos Windows Server 2019 Standard (Desktop Experience) para que
podamos trabajar con la interfaz grá ca de usuario, clic en Next.

 Aceptamos los Términos de la Licencia, y clic en Next.

 Se va a realizar una instalación limpia, para ello hacemos clic en Custom: Install
Windows only (advanced).

 Creamos la partición, hacemos clic en New.

 Asignamos un Tamaño (en MB), luego clic en Apply.

 Nos mostrará un mensaje donde nos indica que se creará una partición adicional para
los archivos del sistema, clic en OK.

 Seleccionamos la partición que hemos creado y clic en Next.

 Ahora solo nos queda esperar.

 Procedemos a colocar la contraseña para la cuenta Administrator (Cuenta Local), y clic
en Finish.

 Bien, nos carga el típico Server Manager pero nos mostrará una sugerencia…que
probemos el Windows Admin Center.

 Podemos veri car que se está usando de espacio 9.10 GB, adicionalmente se puede
veri car que la Build es la 1809.
