Samantha Tester

– I am a history major at Arizona State University. My favorite band is The 1975

and I also enjoy listening to Ariana Grande and Troye Sivan. I love animals and I
visit my dog, who lives with my mom, regularly. In my spare time, I like to
spend time with my friends.
History

– I began finding an interest in history in middle school, especially in my seventh

grade Social Studies class.
– My favorite area of history is fashion history because I find it intriguing to learn
about the relationship fashion and society have all throughout history.

The 1975

– My favorite band is The 1975. The lead singer is Matty Healy and other
members include Ross MacDonald, George Daniel, and Adam Hann.
– Some songs I like by them are “I Like America & America Likes Me,”
“Somebody Else,” and “Paris.”

Ariana Grande

– Ariana Grande is another one of my favorite artists. She recently released her
newest album thank u, next, but I also like her other albums like Dangerous
Woman and My Everything.

Troye Sivan

– Troye Sivan started his career on YouTube, but later became a musical artist.
Some of my favorite songs by him are “YOUTH,” “My My My!,” and
“Seventeen.”
– He also recently appeared in Boy Erased, directed by Joel Edgerton, and wrote
music for the film, too.

– My dog, Turner, currently lives with my mom and I visit him regularly. He is a
Basset Hound and is about 13 years old. We adopted hum through the Arizona
Basset Hound Rescue.
– The only breed of dog I can remember having is a basset hound, so there is a
special place in my heart for bassets. I also love cats, but I am allergic to them,
so I can’t be around them as much as I wish I could.
